Program Associate

Position Summary

The Program Associate will play a vital role in improving the efficiency and expanding the research capacity within a particular core funding area of the Foundation. Reporting to a Program-area Vice President, the Program Associate is primarily responsible for supporting all aspects of the Foundation’s proposal review process -- from submittal through grant award, including preparing documents for proposal review meetings.

The Program Associate will have ongoing contact with grant applicants and grantees and assist in all reports presented to the Executive Staff. The Program Associate will also help prepare grant profiles for the Foundation’s website and serve as a key liaison between the Program Department and the Foundation’s Grants Operations and Communications departments.

The optimal candidate for this position is a highly organized and detailed-oriented person who can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects with ease. The candidate has at least 3 years of professional experience, in an administrative capacity, most preferably within an academic or philanthropic setting. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

It is essential for the candidate to possess a strong interest in the Foundation’s mission.
